Fingers crossed its not too bad. Romero isn't exactly a bad replacement though.

Clutching at straws, but i think we may have a chance here especially with pogba martial and AWB returning. liverpool are not going to sit back deep , which gives us some chance of nicking a goal on the counter.

I don’t say this lightly, but of all the major players we have, Dave is probably the one we have at least a proper replacement for. It’s far from ideal but Romero is a very good player and trusted by the other guys.

With AWB and hopefully Shaw returning, we should be Ok.

He was absolutely superb.
Every time I've seen him on the tv, when he's come in, he's been pretty excellent.
If he starts against these, it wouldn't be an issue whatsoever imo.

Watching that and seeing him score an even better one for England in the same position, highlights how much better he is playing on the left AND how unbalanced we are up front ( as well as midfield obviously)

Confirmed that De Gea and Pogba will both miss the game.
De Gea out for two months.
Pogba must need an extended holiday abroad. Only my opinion but I still don't think there's anything wrong with him. Just wants to be away from the spotlight while the rest get slammed.

Also, why do we feel the need to announce that Pogba is out on the Wednesday night before the game?
Our problem is that we’re too nice. Could we not have delayed it and bullshit Liverpool for a bit? One things for sure we need all of the help we can get.
Fergie was the master of mind games, bloody Ole isn’t. The fact that it’s originating from us means the manager has given his blessing because he basically doesn’t lie and he’s a truthful honest guy.
In fact we could have delayed announcing anything about De Gea too.
Okay, Liverpool are big favourites for the game but for christsakes have a bit of cleverness and don’t volunteer information. That’s what can get people into trouble in all aspects of life!
The Ole/ Carrick/ Phelan/ McKenna quartet can just baffle me at times. I’d have though Phelan would have been a bit streetwise at least.

De Gea 2 months is a real shitter. Pogba's injury is also worryingly persistent, and Martial's was too (and he may not be fully fit yet).
