First time in 70 years a Spanish squad for a major tournament hasn’t featured a Real player. Absolutely crazy. But deserved. They have zero Spanish talent there deserving of a place. Ramos may have been the only one but he's been done for a year now.

That Spain squad is pretty poor outside of Dave, the midfield and a couple of defenders. Man for man, England's squad will probably be better than everyone's other than France and maybe Germany.
Still think Portugal are a good dark horse bet. Very tough group but they have the best 'moments' players in the tournament in Ronaldo and Bruno (arguably just the best players in the tournament full stop), and that matters even more in international games than club ones. A tight final with France, with the French dominating the ball but then Bruno just creates a magic moment that Ronaldo finishes, sounds very plausible to me. Dias is a rock at the back too.

I'd wager money on Portugal rather than Germany. Simply because of the strikers. Werner, Gnabry and Volland isn't something that puts fear into a defense. Portugal are legitimately my number 2 contender to win it all.

My concern with Portugal is i just think they don't use Bruno as well as we do, if they get that right then they certainly have a very talented bunch that will give anyone a game.
Belgium have a sub par manager, unfortunately he wasted their golden generation.
England will have a decent squad man for man and if they go in confident then you have to say they have a great chance.
Germany will be Germany and that means they will show up!
France for me are the team, just pure quality all round, if they click and are mentally in the zone then they beat everyone. Attacking talent, solid creative midfield and the defence isn't too shabby

Evidence of international football's decline in prestige, I think.

Ramsdale has been by far the worst keeper in the league this season, but has somehow made the provisional England squad.

Henderson should easily be number 1 going into these euros

Henderson should easily be number 1 going into these euros With Pope out you'd hope so, but Southgate is loathe to part from his favourites and Henderson's poor form in the past 3/4 games might just give Southgate the cover he needs to stick with Pickford.
