Ramsdale has been by far the worst keeper in the league this season, but has somehow made the provisional England squad. England isn't exactly spoiled for choice in the keeper department tbf. True. Not sure there’s any need to pick four keepers in the provisional squad anyway. What’s the point? Even three for the tournament itself seems excessive. Anyway, Pickford will be starting, 100%. |

The fact no ones had a wibble over the scouse Henderson getting in there, despite not playing since February...

Got to say, if Ben White and Conor Coady can get called up for England then how the hell hasn't Lewis Dunk, as many Brighton fans will tell you, he's been their best defender this season.

Ridiculous to leave out Lingard. The guy has been sensational and England, as talented as they are, should know by now that a little bit of magic is required in the later stages of tournaments.

Rashford couldnt argue if he was dropped from the squad on his form in the 2nd half of the season. English team managers have always been quilty of wishful thinking when it comes to picking players out of form. |

But Stew , we all should know by now that England wont be anywhere near the later stages of international tournaments (2018 being the anomaly). so no need for Southgate to plan for that. |
