Pereira has more of an excuse because he's a number 10 being made to play in midfield but as someone who's been a fan since the youth teams, I don't think he's ever going to make the grade. He’s been shit as a 10 also.

Are the Fred truthers still backing him? He's fucking terrible in every which way. So is Pereira. The midfield isn't worthy of the Premier League, even with McTominay in it. Another manager may get better performances but we won't get anywhere near where we want to be unless serious investment is made in this side. This is by far the worst group of players we've had in my life time. How is Fred not only a professional footballer but also starting for one of the biggest clubs in the world? What is he good at? Pereira is dependent on someone else providing steel and ball-winning but when he plays alongside Fred he’s got neither and it makes him look worse than he actually is (which isn’t great anyway). Having 3 forwards who give up on making darting runs because no one ever gets the back to them is also a symptom of a shit midfield. Grealish looked like a fucking god out there today against us. Leave De Gea out of this for a moment- Virtually every week we play against teams who have better players on the park than us, performance-wise. We have AWB doing his thing, Rashford playing like one of the best youngsters in the world, but with inconsistency and apart from them? Scott sometimes? Martial very, very occasionally? That’s pathetic.

The thing is, there was no need to appoint him when they did. No reason why they couldn’t have waited until the summer. And if the season had played out as it did, or much the same, we would have thanked Ole for steadying the ship and moved on. Shit went downhill as soon as he was given the job fulltime. Not that it was his fault but I agree on the waiting until the summer bit. It took the shine off what could have been a very good end to the season. We were flying then bam, gone to shit in an instant. What was his fault was the awfulness of the performances to an extent. We have a lot of dross in our squad. The bounce lasted for a while then tailed off. Also, Ole seemed to be walking on clouds for the first few months, but as soon as things levelled out, his lack of experience as a coach (and let’s be brutally honest here, lack of ability) meant he was powerless to do much about it.

Again, I don't have any issues with people having the belief Ole isn't good enough, everything is pointing to that being the case but lets leave the real vitriol to the cunts that employed him and failed to give the best possible chance to succeed. The lines on that have definitely been blurred in recent weeks.

Perhaps Bestie fancies the job. At least he knows how to get 3 points

As I’m sure it’s clear by now, I don’t think he’s up to it but I’m not going to start insulting the guy because he’s a genuine legend and a top bloke by all accounts.

The lines on that have definitely been blurred in recent weeks. The problem is theres literally nothing we can do about the board or owners. I imagine the lines have only blurred due to acceptance of that. They will only panic when the money stops coming in and that is damn near impossible right now. We supplemented the money we didnt receive from adidas for not qualifying for Champs League by everyone automatically getting a paycut. Now theres talk they are about to break the world record again for shirt sponsorship. We are in 9th! Truth is we could set Old Trafford on fire and they would just collect the insurance money. Every scenario is somehow a win win for them.

Must admit I've not seen any abuse directed at him from people on here. Been a fair deal of criticism, some fair, some not so much but think we can all agree where the real problem lies. 4th time this has happened now so its not a coincidence.
Whether he succeeds or doesn't here it won't change my opinion of him, he'll always be a legend of the club.

One thing that does seem to constantly let himself down the length of time he takes to make changes. 2-2 why wait until the 82nd minute to bring on Greenwood yet bring on shit like Lingard 10 minutes earlier. He waited nearly 20 minutes after conceding to bring on an attacking player that could impact the game.
Doesn't do himself any favours with it leaving it late all the time and some of the choices.

We know it's going to get worse too because these cunts will let it get a hell of a lot worse before they do get rid of him.
