After watching it back i don’t thinks as bad as initial Reaction with emotion seamed. We had quite a few good chances but we just weren’t clinical enough. We didn’t have the cutting edge or that one magic player who can unlock a defence. Which we all know and hopefully the club knows. Hopefully this will make the club go buy what we need as it was once again highlighted. We weren’t our best but I still think we should have won. There goal shouldn’t have stood and they had no other proper chances I'd argue that given the chances we've had we'd have won if Greenwood started. Martial is not, or shouldn't be our long-term no. 9, but the future should be bright with Rashford, Greenwood, James and possibly a new striker, a Pogba replacement at no. 10 and perhaps another RW. Then, either Martial is ready to put some effort trying to get in this team or leaves to free those 250k weekly wages.
What still undermines us is that huge hole that our CM is.

Lingard shouldn’t have started . A few decent games in 12 months of shit shouldn’t give him a bye.

It's probably been said already, but we are far too easy to play against we've beaten better sides because they have a go at winning the game,we then get in behind them at pace. The lesser sides like Everton know that if they sit in deep, we lack the creativity to break them down. Hopefully Haaland will give us different options that we currently have not got, aerial power, strength in the box, target man that hold the ball up or be played off. We need a serious upgrade on Lingard at 10.

Lingard shouldn’t have started . A few decent games in 12 months of shit shouldn’t give him a bye. He came on at HT against Sheff. Utd, and has played well since. He definitely should have started based on recent form. Those "12 months of shit" should not have mattered when picking our team for Sunday. We all have our opinions about certain players but I don't see the point in turning those into a witch hunt.

If you're picking players on form Greenwood has been better than Lingard.

If you're picking players on form Greenwood has been better than Lingard. If you pick your team based on EYES Greenwood is better than LIngard.

an unfortunate, if not expected outcome.
the fact that we are dross at creating chances against less attacking opposition shouldn't be in question by now.
Even though he isnt our player, i feel for Moise Kean. to be humiliated in such a manner by an inexperienced interim manager must be a hard one to swallow. The Evertonians may swan over big Dunc's dick, but whatever apathy i had for the man has been fully converted to contempt. Fuck him for humiliating a young man in such a way, and for what is such a trivial reason as "wasting a little time". Fuck him!
PS. Greenwood for the start!

If you're picking players on form Greenwood has been better than Lingard. And Martial.

Safe to say its just as bad no matter how.many times you watch it. Problem is we don't do ourselves any favours by starting an unfit Shaw over an inform Williams and giving the sympathy vote to Lingard by starting him (let's face it his football isn't a good enough reason to). We're off the back of two brilliant and expected performances and all of a sudden we're back to square one again with a dismal half arsed display. Papering over cracks. Focus on getting a playmaker in Jan and give Mason more games time. He's a natural finisher and has actually EARNED a start.

If you're picking players on form Greenwood has been better than Lingard. Not necessarily in his place though. I agree that Greenwood should start, but perhaps Ole is being careful with him.

Nope let's keep playing Greenwood in every game and then place all this expectation on his shoulders at 18 that should help him. In the long run 😕😕

In the long run 😕😕 But he isn't playing in every game 🤔 Regardless the lad deserves more games time. There's no more risk playing him more than going out and spending whatever we have to get Haaland. This way we can focus on spending funds in more problematic areas i.e No.10 or a play making central mid.

No but everybody keeps asking for him to play all the time and all that will happen is people will start to expect too much from him and then jump on his back when he has a bad patch, he will get plenty of opportunity at this club, and I think we should be careful with his gametime.
