Sancho will happen but the delay is infuriating and frustrating. Expect Zorc to rock the boat even more now in his upcoming press conference. I’m sure we’ll see an Ed leak shortly after.

The only question will be the timing of Woodward’s counter brief. Also the possibility of JLingz spawning another meaningless goal and being hailed as ‘like a new signing’ cannot be ruled out.

because they keep on overestimating DickEd's capabilities. "why have any expectations?" is more the question i ask myself. one of the first things I do in the morning is check this forum for updates, i'm even having to cut that back because it boils down to the same thing: DickEd and his Merry Balls Band and their ineptitude has us all frustrated. one day ill graduate to the level of "just tell me the squad when the league starts", but i'm not quite there yet. Really all this shit is getting tiresome. Everyone knows Ed is shit but very reputable journos in the press are saying negotiations are ongoing for Sancho. All that matters to myself and others is that we ultimately sign Sancho and potentially a few others. if your not concerned about the 'when', then your missing a huge part of the problem.

Woodward’s genius plan of coming back for him next summer on the cheap just hit a major speed bump:
Big Surprise in @sanchooo10 Poker! Michael Zorc, Head of Sport @bvb, confirmed: the club secretly renewed the player's contract until 2023 a year ago @sportbild @westsven

The story today isn’t Zorc coming out with the things he did. He did it before with transfers and will do again. No th3 story today is the extension of his contract until 2023. That has ended anything approaching leverage Woodward had. We want him, we pay top dollar, no question now.

I can understand not being bullied into paying the fee. My problem is we knew what the fee was 2 weeks ago. Why drag our heels for 2 weeks and take the piss with it. Either accept it and progress with the deal or move onto other options.
We've now wasted 2 weeks of a window again which we'll no doubt end up panicing in towards the end.
Woodward never fails. Waste of space.

If we don't pay top dollar and fuck up this deal, Ashton is going to have some PR job on his hands.

Daniel Harris, who writes for the Guardian amongst other things, has just tweeted that Woodward has pulled a Kenyon on this by agreeing the upfront amount then coming back and chancing his arm by trying to lower it. Now usually you’d say this was bollocks but with Ed?
Harris also reckons Sancho will now hand in a transfer request.

I bet the interest payments those cunts burdened the club with are paid on time Covid or not Same with the dividends. No CL> Sancho wanted to join a club with CL qualification. CL>Clubs can’t agree on a deal. So either this drags on all summer and /or we end up with Grealish. An inferior player , not what we need but he ticks the “Overpriced home grown player “ well we did buy somebody box. That’s who we’ll get if Sancho doesn’t happen. I’m calling it now.

Move on & let the Glazer/Woodward/Ole apologists start trotting out their lame excuses for the lot of them ,just before they nip to their local sports direct to get new shirts !

If/when Woodward fucks this up, I’d love Ole to win the Europa and then resign after publicly calling out this fucking clown.
