After reading the tweet SET posted the other day from the Accrington Stanley owner was it? A lot of clubs might not even exist when this calms down. So, the days of such large fees have surely gone? Looking at the headlines, could Barcelona be the biggest victim? Sorry, my bad, that's liverpool... Sky must be losing millions. I don't have it, but I'm guessing most people have cancelled the sports packages, which must make up a very large part of its income. Barcelona have been dodgy financially for years, but they surely wouldn't go under as they're just too big a name. Some rich person would step in.

Sancho must happen, Dortmund will hold out for 100 million but i still think its money well spent, get inhale for 10 million, get another centre mid and heavily offset the spending via pogba's sale which really should cover sancho's arrival (we won't take less than what we paid), sell Jones and Rojo to cover ighalo, lingard and pereira should offset the cost of a proper midfielder.
I think it would be enough and from a PR perspective there would be an argument to say we spent based on what we sold.
As for Kane as others have said i just think its not a good signing for us, top player but if you sign him you really bury Martial and Greenwood and you can pretty much leave the inhale deal, the figures involved will be silly as it's Levy and let's face it we would be blowing our budget.

He genuinely looks like he could be one of the top 3 players in the world one day. Rash, Mason and Sancho could be England’s front 3 of the future. If it’s £120 million with a gigantic agent fee so be it, fuck your fake principles Ed and get this done.

Ornstein says we are definitely in for Sancho, with a €120m price tag. However, he also says that Sancho is only interested if we have CL football.
Also says we were interested in a striker (he's not sure who) and if that doesn't come off we'll keep Ighalo.

Dortmund bastards were reportedly asking for Greenwood in any deal for Sancho last year. Fuck off with that. I think we could convince Sancho to come without champions league football based on the Rashford and Bruno factors.

Obviously glad that we've told them to get fucked. Football has pretty much depressed me over the last few years, got me to the point where I just lost interest in it, but a front three of Sancho, Greenwood and Rashford has what it takes to bring me back to loving it again.

Mason, Sancho, Rashford, Martial, with Bruno pulling the strings will at least be very exciting to watch.

AS say we want to offer €75m for Saul, and that Atletico would be minded to accept.
That’d be bloody brilliant.

Incredible value for a top level midfielder of his age and with his skillset. Apparently they're having a few financial issues due to all this (which is partly surprising given their financial success under Simeone and how they made a profit in the market last summer) so they'd need the money. This could be the first of a lot of spurious links for us, City and 1-2 other clubs to a lot of clubs who have varying levels of financial difficulty - or it could be the first of several huge bargains we'll be offered. If ever was the time to have the genuine warchest Ed always claims to have in the rags, it's now.

Saul Bruno fred/mctominay with sancho rashford greenwood/martial that's fucking sexy Add a winger, another centre back and maybe a left back (depending on Williams' development) and that's a genuine title challenging team.

Sounds a bit like a rebuild. You know, clearing players out, replacing with better players.
But then I thought that was all rubbish?

You know, you can call me a twat etc,but right now I really don’t give a fiddlers’ fuck about the summer & who may be coming or going, It’s all theoretical (and I’m sure others on here feel the same) further, I would suggest that this awful bloody thing that we’re ALL being subjected to doesn’t give a fuck either!
