Me and a couple of friends were discussing past finals in the pub during the City Villa game and we started talking about the 1994 Coca Cola cup final loss to Villa. At the time it was a frustrating day especially with Big Ron being the manager but it kind of got lost in the shuffle as it was such a great season. However as the years have gone by I always get annoyed thinking about that game because it cost us a domestic treble. We were unstoppable at times that season, utterly dominated teams but for whatever reason we were so sloppy in that final.
What games have annoyed you more over time?

Portsmouth in the cup in 2008. Quarter final right? Why that one in particular?

Was that the game we should have had a clear penalty on Ronnie?

Thought it was. Porto for me. Jose running down the touchline. The tv was very nearly smashed.

Portsmouth because if Atkinson does his job we have a second treble. Leverkusen in 02 because Fergie should’ve won another European Cup at home.
EDIT: Having said that, I do wonder if Cathy would’ve been able to work her magic had Fergie managed to win in Glasgow. The completed circle might’ve been too much for him.

Portsmouth in the cup in 2008. Quarter final right? Why that one in particular? I firmly believe (we were robbed in that game) we would have gone on to win another Treble. Mine is Lydia. I still remember everything, every moment of our brief time together. She full-on Hollywood stopped the cab and ran across the airport forecourt to kiss me one last time and tell me not to stop writing. It was perfect. I never saw her again ... Oh. You mean football. One of mine is losing the FA Cup on penalties to Arsenal. We dominated the entire game. They were kicking from the first minute. Lauren was finally sent off with hardly any time left. Pointless sending him off then. European Cup final vs Barca at Wembley. It would have been so Fergie-era United to beat the side the media were getting themselves into a wank fury over. FA Cup final vs Chelsea, the first one at New Wembley. I love the FA Cup, and was at that final. Was gutting. We should be in history as the first FA Cup winners at new Wembley.

Chelsea in 2010. A great Utd team, one that could have won the league and Champions League, were undone by an injury to Rooney.
Also the 4-4 draw with fucking Everton and that twat Moyes in 2012. Evra hits the post to make it 5-2, instead bog brush Fellani plays one of his only decent games and we piss away a title.

City at the Etihad. Kompany scores the only goal. We were set up for a 0-0. This then leads to AGUEROOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOO!

Losing the 1995 F.A. Cup final to Everton.
Paul Rideout scored in the 30th minute, i've never forgotten it, it's logged in my head.
To make it worse we lost the title to Blackburn the previous Sunday, that was a shit Saturday evening.

QPR are forever on my absolute shit list for basically stopping playing after they knew they were safe.
If I had serious coin, I'd buy that shower of cunts just to close the gates forever.
