Losing the 1995 F.A. Cup final to Everton. Paul Rideout scored in the 30th minute, i've never forgotten it, it's logged in my head. To make it worse we lost the title to Blackburn the previous Sunday, that was a shit Saturday evening. Andy Cole missed a sitter vs West Ham as well. In hindsight though I made my peace with 1995 because it allowed Fergie to purge the team and bring in the class of 92.

Madrid when Nani was sent off. we were in control of the tie up until then The clincher. Fergie may have stayed a year longer after this..? To defend the Champions League? I don't know, but I know this loss absolutely devastated him.

Quarter final right? Why that one in particular? I firmly believe (we were robbed in that game) we would have gone on to win another Treble. Mine is Lydia. I still remember everything, every moment of our brief time together. She full-on Hollywood stopped the cab and ran across the airport forecourt to kiss me one last time and tell me not to stop writing. It was perfect. I never saw her again ... Oh. You mean football. One of mine is losing the FA Cup on penalties to Arsenal. We dominated the entire game. They were kicking from the first minute. Lauren was finally sent off with hardly any time left. Pointless sending him off then. European Cup final vs Barca at Wembley. It would have been so Fergie-era United to beat the side the media were getting themselves into a wank fury over. FA Cup final vs Chelsea, the first one at New Wembley. I love the FA Cup, and was at that final. Was gutting. We should be in history as the first FA Cup winners at new Wembley. I cringe thinking of the 2005 Arsenal game. Everyone including myself wearing all black to mourn the club being sold, people burning the American flag in Cardiff city Center etc. Then we all bought season tickets for next season lol.

The 2010 QF loss to Bayern. The path was set for a 3rd appearance in a row in a UCL final with Lyon waiting in the SF. Granted there was no guarantee we’d win it against that Inter side (or Lyon) though I think Sir Alex had an edge on Jose and his teams at that time. There are other painful losses in Europe already mentioned...why the fuck are we doing this to ourselves!?

We were smashing those ubercunts. Nani was doing his best Cristiano impression too. That cunt Robben's celebration still makes me so mad.

It could actually be argued that we could have achieved a lot more under Fergie. Which is insane. And a testament to what a fucking immense football club we were in those days. God, whose idea was this stupid thread...! smithy2 ! Why are you doing this to us mate !

The first leg fucked our season because that's when van Bommel injured Rooney.

I had a look back, and I was talking about his first foul not second, my bad. The one where he petulantly stuck his leg out and tripped their player. That was stupid indeed. But watching the highlights, Rooney was playing in this one mate. I think van bommel injured him in this leg..

We rushed Rooney back for the second leg after he got injured really late in Munich. Fucked his season after that. And ours.

I think Fergie and the coaching staff needed to be a bit more clever in that game with Rafael. Once he got booked it was only a matter of time before that shite Ribery got him sent off. He should probably have been hooked.

Madrid when Nani was sent off. we were in control of the tie up until then There primarily in the CL for me. Dortmund, Leverkusen (How did we lose that) and Monaco. Had we come through those games we would have won alot more in Europe. Losing to Madrid was dissappointing but we bottled those other games I mentioned.

I still remember the feeling of that Rafael second yellow and the sinking feeling of the Robben goal knowing we were done. We were dominating Bayern too before it all went to shit.
