www.printfriendly.com/p/g/Mp3qgxSo ^ that is a story of a pulmonologist who developed it. The stats and figures are off the wall. They were very lucky, very lucky indeed.

Someone said 'Get well soon Boris, I want you fit and healthy so I can get back to complaining about you!', thought that was a nice way of putting it.

Smithy's caved in comment above made me think, in these unprecedented times I'm sure people have done things they normally wouldn't have if things were normal, either due to the availability of time, lack of things to do, or in smithy's case - lunacy brought on due to extended period of self isolation . So, what have you done that you normally wouldn't have ? I cleaned my car, by myself, for the first time in 10 years.

My life is fairly uneventful most of the time. I spend much of my time running around after and running errands for my kids and my Mum. I do a bit of volunteer work. The rest of the time I'm mostly lazing around the house in comfy clothes watching TV, movies or sport. Nothing much has changed apart from doing less of the running around and more of the lazing. I've watched so many shows and movies over the last few weeks that I'm running out of things to watch, yet I still haven't been tempted to watch GoT again... I'm still salty about how that ended. I'm really missing live sport, more than I thought I would. One of the biggest differences is that I've been doing my own housework because the cleaning lady hasn't been coming. I can't remember the last time I cleaned my own bathroom until a couple of weeks ago. I've also noticed a bit of dust accumulating on the skirting boards and now I can't unsee it. I should probably do something about it, but at the moment apathy and laziness is winning the battle of wills with my desire to have dust free skirting boards. I might do a jigsaw instead.

Been working throughout so far so would usually be doing slightly more than I'm doing currently Days are long as fuck.

My life has only been inconvenienced in that getting food is annoying and my diet has been fucked. I'm still going to work for the same hours, doing the same stuff, playing football manager.

Yesterday I should have gone to Paris. Painted some of the fence instead. Paint pot is nearly empty though so it means trawling the shops for more. ☹️☹️
Seriously though, I imagine there’ll be a increase in the suicide rate if this drags on for months. Domestic violence is already on the rise.

She is convinced suicide rate, domestic violence and an increase in depression will follow up unfortunately.

938 in the UK today. I hope to fuck we are at the peak. That's just from hospitals. Not including care homes etc. I hadn't really though about suicides. That's a subject close to my heart.
If any of you fuckers feel depressed, get on here and chat. PM some random here and chat. Pick a member and send them a message. Even if you are not down. Let's take care of one another.

I remember a few weeks back before the lockdown one of the experts were alluding to the negatives of it. I definitely think mental health was a part of that. I think that was one of the reasons they were reluctant to lockdown earlier. Especially when you consider the number of idiots who are ignoring it anyway.

I hadn't considered a rise in domestic violence being a consequence of all this. What a fucking horrible situation.
Just the thought of that, and the potential rise in suicide, and the despair people must be feeling about being isolated, and people dying alone that we don't even know about yet is a really horrible thing to be thinking about at this time of night. It's been getting to me a bit today. I'm off to watch some baby animal video's on Youtube to take my mind off it.
