2 countries that are showing really worrying signs may be India and Brazil. They're registering so many cases these past few weeks, but the real numbers could be horrifyingly high apparently. With little to no testing it looks horrible there.

Spike in ICU cases this week, 2 weeks post VE Day celebrations. No doubt they’ll be another in another 2 weeks post sunny bank holiday and Eid.

With little to no testing it looks horrible there. Gigantic populations crammed into a handful of cities, its hardly surprising. Even with great testing isolation in some of those Brazilian favelas would be damn near impossible.

Bolsonaro is a more unhinged version of that unhinged orange twat in Washington who’s regarding of the virus as public “neurosis”, India is India, one of the most populous countries in the world, the prospects for both countries is horrendous. 2nd spike looks to have start in China, and I’m bloody sure that we who live in UK will also experience one.

Still shielded so continuing to isolate, cannot work from home as my (muppet) civil service employers can’t supply me with portable IT ,ie a tablet-type device that I need to enable me to work comfortably-I have a specifically adjusted work station in the office to allow me to do this. Oh, and I’ve also fallen, landed awkwardly, broken my wrist and fractured my shoulder, so in a cast for 8 weeks at least. Off to the Fracture Clinic at my local hospital (Stepping Hill) tomorrow afternoon, for further X-rays etc, which has just been named by the MEN today as THE local hospital with the most Covid cases. Quadruple Fuck!

Probably a little to late to open a book on this, but how many times do you think Hatt Mancock ,who’s leading this afternoon’s Covid presser will say “We’re following the Science/Scientists” This will become THE excuse to use for all future clusterfucks, crimes, wars, etc. “You stand, convicted of the most heinous crime of ...................” “I was just following the Science your honour” “Case dismissed, and here’s £50 from public funds for your trouble.“ One of my closest friends from work has a daughter working as a Critical Care Nurse in a large Manchester hospital, who spends an awful lot of her time in ICU intubating Covid patients, she says it’s “still a nightmare” at the moment. I’d love to know (specifically) the R-0 numbers regionally ,instead of this rather vague “between 0.7 - 0.9”

So it's now come out that China had a 10x year on year rise in 'flu' cases in December...

I’ve actually enjoyed having the opportunity/excuse to grow my hair longer again. Haven’t grown it out since 2013. I’ll give it an extra few weeks after the barbers reopen before getting it cut. Not really in a rush, and they’ll be rammed to start with.

A solid look to be fair. Hope you’ve grown a moustache to go with it.

My son has the best kind of hair. Thick , dark and wavy so the longer it gets the better it looks. Lockdown suits him.
