Manchester into tier three then. Thats me spending Xmas on my own. Fucking brilliant. Might be out of it by then? I had 2 Christmas’s that were dreadful . The first was when I was about 18 and my mum had moved out leaving me spending Christmas with one of my uncle’s. He’s a bit of a Grinch so he sorted his own dinner out . I was practically a vegetarian by then. So I had a Curry pot noodle and a packet of crisps. The other was when I worked nights at the hospital. I worked Christmas Eve so I got up around 3 and went to my mums for Christmas dinner in my work uniform. My husband drove to his mums for his. Then my stepdad dropped me off to work Christmas Day night.

I like the chicken and mushroom one but curry is my fav.

The issue is more what happens with fans coming into and out of the stadium. The Glazers are worried about their finances. I worry more about lower league clubs who don’t have the kind of TV money PL clubs do. This experiment should start there first imo. Far more deserving.

Yesterday was Melbourne's first day out of lockdown in about 100 days.
Been a bloody nightmare, but God the first beer back in a pub was glorious.
Everyone back in Europe going into lockdown again has my thoughts, the lockdown is not easy, I know that only too well, hopefully everyone can get through it OK.

Seemingly. Might have been misreported actually. Looks like it might only be on the North West.

Here’s a question. We got an email early this week from my sons school advising him to isolate for 14 days because he’s been in contact with someone with a recent positive Covid test.
Meanwhile I work in a Nursing home and 3 of our staff who I’ve come into contact with have all tested positive at different times this last few weeks.
I’ve not been told to isolate once and carried on working throughout.
Where’s the logic with that one ? Ok it might be a case of they’ll probably be no-one left to work in the home but I’m just as much of a risk of spreading it as he is if either of us have it.

My partner is a primary school teacher, one of her TA’s tested positive so the whole bubble had to isolate for 14 days. That’s three school years of children and all the staff. Not allowed to leave the house. None of them had to test for it unless they had symptoms. Meanwhile, I went to work every day, coming and going as I please. I couldn’t really understand the logic in that, but there you go. They actually reluctantly shut my office on Monday for a deep clean. Took them until dinnertime to send us home, by which time you’d imagine people would have caught it anyway.

Had a few of my pupils disappear for tests but all negative thankfully. My bubble is yet to burst!

From what I gather, most head teachers are in and out of every bubble, rendering the whole thing useless. This area is about to go into Tier 3 now, whatever that means.

Staff wander in and out all the time. And we have problematic children that need removing from the classroom for time to time for a number of reasons.

So finally I got an alert from the Covid app telling me to self isolate because I’ve been in contact with a positive case.
My work insists they don’t think it’s come from there which is strange because we’ve had at least 3 staff test positive over the last month and my daughter hasn’t had any alerts and she’s been to everywhere I have.
Fibbing bastards.
