I hope so. It would almost be worth it to see those cunts lose money hand over fist. Fuck their World Cup. I read the other day that there have been 15,000 deaths building and prepping for it over there. Staggering if true. That number seems insane but we all know this WC is the apex of FIFA corruption. Human slavery and exploitation is happening in plain sight and nobody seems to give a hell. FIFA has form in this area, after all they allowed Argentina to host it under a military junta.

The nations need to get together and fuck FIFA off, set up separate competitions. it's not just the number of deaths, they've been built with slave labour. It's all Indians/Pakistanis/Bangladeshis who arrive and have their passport confiscated so they cannot leave, working in insufferable heat, zero H&S, and for pennies. From Russia to the middle east. But it's for "the world game" to "bring us all together". And FIFA sit back and laugh. Corrupt bunch of fucking cunts.

I was listening to the radio on the way home from work, American sports teams are super-careful apparently re separating vaxxed and unvaxxed players, for training etc, unfortunately the piece didn’t explain what happens when the teams are playing so I’ll have to look later as I’m off out.

Vaccine stop you from testing positive then? Doesn't stop you getting it but does reduce the probability of transmission.

I'd say they treat them through gritted teeth plus they're treating them with experimental drugs anyway to keep the worst affected alive. The whole thing doesn't make sense to me.

I’ve got family in the NHS on the COVID wards, they feel the same about them as anyone else. It’s someone ill in a bed at the end of the day, doesn’t matter why they’re there. Also worth noting that nowhere near everyone in the NHS is vaccinated at this point. I know plenty who aren’t, who are going to need to have had their first by about February.

I'd be making them pay for their treatment tbh, if the vaccine has been offered and they have refused it, "which they have the right too" but then get Ill enough to end up in hospital because of catching covid.

That’s mental. Lad at work has just gone into hospital despite having had two jabs. Should he be paying for it? NHS staff care for drug addicts, rapists, murderers, nonces. Whoever is in that bed receives free care to the best standard available. You don’t start charging people for turning down an injection. Unless what you said was satire in which case it’s really funny.

Ahh NOW we're ready to admit this variant is much less severe and that might actually be good news, after our own scientists figure out what the South Africans have been telling us for weeks. No no, lets just continue making educated guesses at what might happen despite having real world evidence to guide us.
The problem with telling people to trust the experts is that so many have different takes on the situation and we only seem to report on those that fit the narrative. So you're not really getting the opinions of the experts, just a tiny portion of them.
