Well I (hubristically) announced that I wouldn’t be watching this game tonight, for a number reasons, including filthy lucre etc, but hubris has gone out the window so I’m watching it, keep scrolling between the exceptionally weird muted Sky Channel, apart from the players’ shouting etc, and the (even weirder) “crowd effects” and “Watchalong, which is even worse, I think it turning the volume to 0 and watching it that way may be my preferred option, oh and they’ve just scored, where the fuck were you DDG?

Fair play to DDG, not let that mistake get into his head as he's made a good save there (not remotely making up for his mistake mind). Fucking atrocious defending though, Son was completely free.

Right back is the only one of the five defensive positions I wouldn't consider upgrading this summer at this point.

Right back is the only one of the five defensive positions I wouldn't consider upgrading this summer at this point. Id give Williams the LB slot and bring Laird up as backup. Can play RB (probably better there) too |

Looking a bit all over the shop defensively over the last few minutes.
Further up the pitch, Bruno’s been pretty excellent. Only real positive so far.
