Call me a sucker but I’ve been won over by the crowd noise. If you didn’t look at the stands yesterday you could’ve been forgiven for thinking it was just a regular game. It absolutely makes it more watchable IMO. I’m very excited by that Martial performance anyway. Best performance by a striker since Fergie for me and I include Zlatan in that. Not just 3 quality, effortless finishes but his all round play. Link up play excellent, movement much better and even running with the ball and beating his man. Showed yesterday what we all know he’s capable of but what he frustratingly only usually shows in glimpses. It HAS to be the coming of age moment for him. The Martial enthusiasm is great but Zlatan won us a cup final. He did and this isn’t me saying Martial is now our best striker since Fergie, he’s got a long way to go. One excellent performance will mean little if he doesn’t start to show consistency. Think I’ve been as big a critic of him on here as anyone. Just think that performance yesterday, in isolation, is the best footballing performance we’ve seen from a striker in that time. Even include Zlatan’s talismanic cup final performance in that. The football Martial played yesterday, the completeness of his performance culminating in the hat-trick was superb.

A solid performance overall. It was nice seeing us score goals that were from good build up and breaking Sheffield down rather than from a counter. I was concerned at times with Shaw, he was the weak link in our back 4.
I think we need to win out our remaining league games to feel there was some progress this season. It’s doable with the schedule and if we stay healthy. That would take us to 70 points and possibly to 3rd.

Good win. Can say goodbye to Sancho being sanctioned though if we keep winning with those 3 up top. Could do with Rashford getting a niggle till the end of the season to remind them that we can't just play those 3 across all competitions all season. If we do pull off top 4 I fully expect the spending brakes to be switched on no matter who the press link us with. They’ll have the perfect excuse......again.

Rashford and Martial both on 19 goals for the season (all comps).
If they both score 1 more each it'll be the first time we've had 2 players hit 20+ in the same season since Chicha (20) and Berba (21) in 10/11. Since SAF left, only two players have it 20+ - Ibra (28 in 16/17) and Lukaku (27 in 18/18). Last season Pogba was our top scorer with 16.

I wont lie, i like the way we are playing.
the constant pressure in attack is entertaining for sure.
very happy with the showing yesterday and at Tottenham, dominant displays.
