Our front 3 is something to purr about, but we’ve won fuck all. It’s great Mason has scored more goals than Firmino this seasons, but who’s picking up a winners medal this weekend? Ideally what’s happene the last 10 days should be launching pad for a team brimming with potential. It needs quality additions, whether a manger who is clearly in over his head but still swimming, is backed with cash remains to be seen. Our strongest 11 are as good as anyone in the league in my opinion, the problem is the rest of the squad. There’s not enough quality to make an impact during a game. Had Bournemouth kept their lead for longer, who could we have possibly brought on to make a difference? This is what bothers me. We shouldn’t be scared by bringing in the kind of players who would challenge Martial and Rashford for places, we need to remember Greenwood is a kid and should probably still be used intelligently, and we need to be able to cope with injuries to key players like Bruno. So if Ed thinks we’re golden and there’s no need to spend much this summer, he should think again. Totally agree with this. we should be always aiming to bring players in who will challenge fo all positions starting with the obvious first. ddg,shaw,lindelof and a RW are the first priority(I’d prob throw that block head McGuire in that list) those areas above need addressing if we want to become a top side. In football if you stand still you go backwards. |

It's fair to say that Lingard is done. Hasn't even made the bench the last 2 games.

We're still too susceptible to giving away stupid goals which kill you against the likes of city or Liverpool. Starting XI is close though. |

I need to delete twitter. This fan base is so toxic. We haven't lost for 16 games, looking much better each time we play, may grab 3rd and possibly a cup trophy and immediately it's negativity. People actually sounding gutted that we won.
Are we where we need to be? Not at all. Is it improving? Absolutely.
Opposition fans don't help with their obsession. We win a game so the fans are happy and they try to hold it against us with their 'it's only Bournemouth' comments. Pricks.
