How do we keep getting so close to Chelsea and then fuck it up? Its a mentally weak squad. Southampton totally deserved that.
Seriously, that could mean we miss out. Having to win at Leicester on the last day would be a disgrace.
2 games against Southampton this season. 2 points. It's reason's like this why we are not getting close to Liverpool and City any time soon.

Him and Pogba should have been off at half time. That doesn't even count as one of the three slots. I have blamed the players as well below. But the manager definitely deserves blame here IMO. Really? So not subbing Pogba and Bruno sooner was the reason to not blame Lindelof for not marking his man for the equaliser? Pretty sure that would have ensured we won? If he had subbed on Fred and McTominay at half time we would have been more likely to control the midfield, meaning it never got to the point of the disgraceful last 20 minutes. We might have even created a third too. Lindelof should have done better for the goal. I thought he was one of our best players today before that but it was a terrible error.

Pandemic era twist on a theme from all season. Never able to kill off close games.
Guys looked ragged out there. Love the continuity but given the amount of games in a short period, needs more rotation.

Disappointing obviously, but that's why teams don't generally start the same 11 game after game, you need to freshen things up and make a couple of changes.
Our squad being shite though means that there is a glaring drop off in quality if we do that, so Ole in a bit of a pickle.
Top 4 should still be got I think, Leicester are dropping right off, confident we'll be above them by the weekend.
Luck not on our side tonight either, VAR showing it continues to be as useful as a condom machine in a convent, the most obvious red card you'll see this season and it just gets waived away, unless "studding someone's shin long after the ball has gone" has been added to the rule book under Allowable Actions On The Football Pitch and I didn't hear about it?
That we are the side that end up with 10 men on the pitch is just shake your head unlucky.
We weren't likely to win all our remaining matches so I'm hoping this was the one we were due to drop points in, and we finish with 9 points these last 3 games. Trying to be positive.

I have some sympathy for Ole. I think he knows he needs to freshen up the team but the performance of the ‘reserves’ against Norwich was dreadful so he probably can’t risk it. He has a very difficult couple of selections coming up and as disappointing as it might be he may need to rest players for the Cup game. Because he won’t be able to go same again 3 times in a row. They’re already looking shattered.

You could also argue that if Romeu was sent off, as he should have been, we would probably have won easily too. But it was a defensive cock up that conceded again. Not subs.

Think we're overreacting a bit here. Frustrating as it is, I still think we're favourites to finish 3rd.

Taking Bruno and pogba of at HT makes no sense the only 2 players who can pick a bit of magic out, we've seen a midfield three of Fred mctommers and matic before and look were we was, we was shit. We looked gassed today, we have about 13 players in the squad who are actually good the rest are pony.

Fucking Maguire. Wouldn't make the bench in our 2008 side. Fucking £80m for a mostly solid player. Twat.
(He's giving the post-match interview hence my ire being directed at him.)

All fair points - but the players who IMO should have been subbed on, McTominay and Fred, have both proven themselves this season to be exempt from the dross rating given to most of our reserves. They both deserve trust still. If it were, say, Maguire and Lindelof struggling I'd agree that there were no options off the bench. But he Fred and McTominay are legitimate options that could and should have been brought on much earlier.
