Do you actually hear what you saying? Ole is shit because he doesn't make changes, but as you say the bench is shit, so what actual game management can he do, take of somebody for someone who's fucking shite and hope that they change the game? And then every fucker moans when Lingard or Dan James come on and look totally out of place A million times this. Who should Lingard have come on for? Andreas? Mata is the most over rated player in our squad and doesn’t fit our current system. Igalho isn’t actually that good. Every single one of you would take a half dead Martial/Greenwood/Rashford (which he was) over any of that lot every single time. I’m thoroughly disgusted that we went out as are a lot of you, but direct that anger at Ed and Joel Glazer for not giving this manager, the previous manager or your favourite manager who you think should replace Ole, any of the tools to actually do their jobs. Our first string is pretty decent when healthy, and after that it’s a tire fire. Sevilla could, and did, change it. We can’t bc the squad is so pathetically thin and bereft of talent. Yes, there were positives post restart, but if Ed doesn’t get his finger out we are gonna be mid table next season bc the first 11 will be shattered by Christmas. They brought on a striker who has scored 7 goals in 44 games this season, a striker who scored 0 in 12 at Newcastle. You say they could change it like they brought Ole and Teddy on. Luuk De Jong is horseshite but they gambled and gave him a shot anyway. You've just made every ones points for them. Even a shit player can win you a game, you don't just leave tired, underperforming players on the pitch and hope something somehow happens. |

I’m gutted for Ole. Realistically, this was by far and away his best chance to win a trophy, which would have had a great romance to it.

Wan basaka at times can't defend , he makes some great tackles but half the time he has to due to not sensing the danger in the first place. He also can't cross a ball to save his life neither can williams. How many chances do liverpools full backs create.
I think Harry has done well in his first season dont understand the haters but I wouldn't keep any other centre back we have they just are not good enough
Midfield though did well but can't understand why matic or Scott didn't come on for fred earlier despite him doing not much wrong
Forward line up did well without scoring but rashford was poor and i would have brought igalo on earlier, why extend his loan then hardly ever play him
Ole deserves next season but he will be sacked by the time its finished
Were all talking about sancho but my gut tells me we would be better buying a top centre back and centre forward
Only positives I can see is were in champions league, youngsters have another season under their belt
But cant see us buying the players we need to push on with these muppets in charge

It’s still a pathetic trophy. The empty stadiums and that Covid tournament in Germany make this even worse. Still, not being able to score from open play for 210 minutes against average opposition only highlights how far behind we are at the moment. In think we have a good young core on which to build and make the next step forward. This is a big (but short) summer. Jesus wept. You obviously don’t agree this is a pointless tournament. I understand that. |
