You know, when Liverpool finally won the league again. That was a hard season. I reckon it all boiled down to that Aston Villa game when we could only draw 2-2, because our only option from the bench was that useless 17 year old Macheda. What's he went on and done his whole career? I mean, obviously we wouldn't bring someone as shite as him on so we just had to leave it as is and hope for the best, didn't we?

I imagine the Glazers are loving this rebuilding con job that’s still doing the rounds. Just needs more time..... Like Moyes did.  Nobody has said a damn thing about getting more time. I'm still behind Ole. You cant blame him for tonight. Think now he's made it very clear he has no faith in his bench. We need investment. People focusing on the fact we've been knocked out of 3 semi finals and the fact Ole Out is now even trending. Fucking hate out fanbase at times. Instead focus on the fact hes got us a top 3 finish and 3 semi finals in his first full season. Nobody would have expected that. Give him what he needs to get the job done. Or we'll end up going fucking backwards again. So what’s the difference between what Jose did and what Solskaer does? Both possibly trying to make a point to the board. You have lowered your standards to even consider 3 semi final defeats as anything positive. We laughed at Liverpool for managing 2 final fuckups but Klopp did that in less time and with less money. We are treading water with Solskaer. A better manager would still get more out of this squad. |

How did you see this going? Coming on to post on a thread where everyone is pissed off at losing, telling us not to bother as it’s a pointless trophy? In your head how did it play out? Because if it was you annoying the shit out of everyone then well done. I didn’t like losing one bit but I have an opinion about the trophy, and this season’s tournament in particular. What’s to get irked about. As the other post pointed out, is it a shit trophy only when we are in the CL? If anyone was pissed off to a level that prevents discussing the merits of this summer tournament then please accept my sincere apologies Take some advice- if you are going to persist in this fashion in this thread tonight then it’ll get ugly. |

Whats worrying its only a month till the restart and its like ed is only just opening his creaky filing cabinet blows the dust of his file marked transfers, sighs and mutters I hate this bit.
