Tough one. They are still better than us and will be smarting from their loss to us. Their qualification is far from secure as well so they need a win.
A 1-0 loss could let us top the group still if we beat Leipzig. Any other loss and top of the group is probably forefitted, which'll mean a shit second round draw. Draw might just suit both sides if we then go and beat Leipzig for them.
Hoping Cavani starts. We will probably play deep and counter which annoys me vs lower teams but makes sense here. A repeat of the game in Paris, even without the late winner, would do just fine!

Big game, i think PSG will be well up for this, do they have Veratti back? No point trying to play safe, just go at them from the off and try and put the game to bed. But knowing what United are like, we never do things easy, it wouldn't surprise me if we end up going to Liepzig needing a result!! 😬

VDB had a knock last game so no problem seeing him on the bench here. Just hope he starts on the weekend. I had like 5 seconds of disappointment when I saw the team, but then looking at the team again I accepted that it really is balanced and if Donny started, someone else very competent would have been benched. its a good place to be in, really. |
