That right there is a man with a voice not at all commensurate with his look.

Our best number 9 (position not shirt number) since RVP and really on current form you can make a strong case he's better than RVP. Let's not lose the run of ourselves buddy. I swear I don’t need to post nearly as much on here because all I have to do is like your posts to express my opinions.

“I feel a deep bond with my team mates and the staff who work behind the scenes here. They give me extra motivation every day and I know that, together, we can achieve special things”
For such a seasoned and respected pro to be coming out with a quote like that must mean one of two things. Either he’s full of shit and just passing on platitudes to make his well-paid last year more tolerable, or he truly does see some good things happening at OT.
While we’re all in temporary happy, smiley land, I’m believing the second option!

I don’t know if it’s either really.. this is pretty much the standard stuff you read in every transfer/contract renewal.

"I have been really moved by the lads in the dressing room, saying stuff like 'Edi you can't go. Stay, we love you. We don't want you to leave,'
Lovely comment from Edi. Its really great he's been made to feel loved at the club and must have helped to persuade him to stay

What a difference between him and Sanchez attitude wise. That was a horrendous signing.

I must say that, with my giant Woke Hat firmly in place, Edi has (seemingly) failed to provide food the vegans, lactose intolerant, etc x 1000 at his barbecue, by cooking per his tweet below, those bangers look bloody beautiful ,nom-fucking-nom!

Ed I’d still in Uruguay visiting family he’s not seen in 2 years, which was a big pitch in getting him to stay: so looks like Mase will start up top Saturday.

I'm wondering where things stand with Cavani. He obviously signed an extension with the expectation he'd get regular gametime like he did last season. He's also keen to play for Uruguay but they are on the red list so we'd probably be reluctant to release him for international duty given he'd then have to quarantine in a hotel for 10 days and lose match fitness.
Maybe the decent thing to do is to release him for international duty as a goodwill gesture with the idea of making more use of him in the second half of the season when the games are coming thick and fast and Ronaldo will need the occasional rest.
