Feel like anything could happen here. Could be massively elating or a giant bump back down to earth. That earth would be being level on points with those scumbags in mid-January. Not too bad compared with being galaxies apart from them this time last season.

I'm on my knees, begging for a 95th minute penalty for a dodgy handball. Please specify to whomever you are praying to that the penalty is for us and not them! I would've though after over a decade on this board, that'd be blatantly obvious

I can’t remember the last time I felt this much tension and worry before a game. How ever long it lasts, I’m happy that we’re in a title race again where a single result could make or destroy my week.

If you look at it currently the squads are pretty even in terms of quality on the pitch with Liverpool just edging us on firepower.
I think the difference in this game will come from the Managers and the plans/tactics they have. Liverpool are missing big players but are well rested too so we know they will put in a big performance.
It's Klopp vs Ole and I don't think Ole has a chance but I would love to be surprised.

Over the last couple of years they have been streets above us but not now. they have a slightly better team and obviously a better manager but I’ve no issues in us going toe to toe with them. our forwards need to improve though as most have been playing shit recently(rashers and martial being the main culprits)

The last few weeks they’ve had issues scoring. No goals against Newcastle or Southampton and just the one against West Brom. Having said that, they banged in about 12 in 3 games before that like.

Best defence will be to attack them in numbers.

The extra rest is a big advantage for them, there a high energy team and that matters in this instance. The opportunity to go 6 points clear is surely a massive incentive to the team and Im just hoping Ole and the players are brave and bold enough to go after Liverpool. There not invincible, Villa put 7 past them ffs.

Our strikers have to be perfect on the day as I think we'll need 3 goals to beat them (I'm not going to talk about the defence) Even with their defensive issues they are unbeaten at Anfield for how many years? They won't relinquish that record easily.

They are strong at home even without a crowd, I would take a draw here but hope we can nick it. Martial will have to get sweat on and pull his lazy arse into gear in fact all the forwards will have to really close down, hopefully Bruno will have a good game he`s due one.

Fortune favours the brave as they say, so let's just go balls out and have a fuckin good go at them for once, what have we got to lose.
One thing is for sure, we absolutely cannot afford any passengers in this game, that means the likes of Rashford and Martial really have to put a shift in, even if it's not happening for them up front they have to at least put the graft in, not fucking sulking!!! this is Liverpool away, at Anfield, top of the table clash, no one should need motivating!!
