I'm still angry about how we treated Romero last summer. What fucking cunts our board are. It was pretty disgraceful considering he helped deliver one of our very few trophies post-Fergie. He deserves to play and be a starter elsewhere. I don’t blame him for not wanting to go and collecting a pay cheque from the glazer pricks. |

Been think of potential cb's that wouldn't cost the earth, anyone seen much of milenkovic at fiorentina? Or pau torres?
Not sure joules kounde is good enough but then again players like Ben mee and Lewis dunk did cross my mind, none of those are worse than victor when it comes to the basics of defending

Is Romero still here? If so, he is probably a better bet than DDG right now...but Henderson isn't as bad as you are suggesting...and probably also better than DDG at this point... He’s practically been frozen out for some reason Ed & Ole. Ed obviously has a hard-on for any England International he can get his grubby little overpaying hands on and Ole doesn't have the aptitude or fortitude to go against this policy for failure. they are both to blame. but if they did a little research, they'd have realised Romero isnt the one to try this with. He has previous at being content to collect his pay package, and STILL be good enough to be no. 1 for Argentina. |

There are heaps of better centre backs out there. Not all at Rio/Vidic standard, very very few of those around, but just better than what we currently have. Most Premier League sides have at least one centre half better than Lindelof and/or Maguire. Going and getting one of those should be an absolute doddle. Just being quick and brave would be a start. I don't give a shite about playing out from the back, being fancy on the ball and all that bollocks, you're a central defender. Your first and foremost job is to defend. Stop the oppostion from scoring. If it means you get a kick in the face doing so, all the better. Oh for a centre half with a nose like Bruce's. |

The biggest question I have in regards to the cb’s is are the coached?
They have all regressed which means you can buy upmancano, varane etc and they could all look like duds.
Evans, smalling, tuanzebe all looked miles better elsewhere.
Sooner or later the question needs to be addressed

Richard Hartis is our goalkeeping coach. He was at United from 2000-2010 working at the academy and a spell with the 2007/08 first team. Then spells with Solskjaer at Molde and Cardiff. We signed him after he was working with the England team. |
