I’ve stuck this post-it on the fridge door for later:
2 x Centre Backs, both with excellent ability to read the game,quick, mobile and NOT injury prone.
1 x goalkeeper, either as a straight replacement for DDG, or back-up for Dean Henderson.
1 x Manager-MUST be as mean as a snake, have proven experience ,and hail originally from Argentina-there’s an ideal one of those currently managing in Spain.

That can be considered AFTER the CB’s GK, and new manager are secured-Definitely need a new spine after the shit shows that they are collectively responsible for producing time and time again. Re Sancho, I think Amad’s going to be pulling up trees soon enough, and Ed will avoid, especially if he can save a few quid. |

Is Romero still here? If so, he is probably a better bet than DDG right now...but Henderson isn't as bad as you are suggesting...and probably also better than DDG at this point...

Think De Gea is only one error behind Pickford over the last couple of seasons. I’ve always loved Dave and he was brilliant for a good while, but even I feel it’s time to accept we have to let him go. Aside from the fact he was shocking for two of Everton’s goals, he was poor against Sheff United too. Maybe it was a foul, but regardless of that, a keeper who isn’t as weak and timid would’ve still dealt with that no problem. Regardless of how bad we played, we could’ve more than gotten away with it but for him being a fanny. He’s not been the same since the World Cup truth be told. Maybe Henderson won’t be the answer, but we’d have beaten Everton with him in goal because he has a locatable set of bollocks. |

Tbh since that last contract he signed to be the best paid goalkeeper he hasn’t been the same.
Genuinely don’t think the money has anything to do with it but it’s just the trajectory since then has been down
