Meh. I know its risen in stock these last few seasons, but after our dismal exit from the CL, I'm really struggling to feel any excitement for this competition.

A couple of weeks ago I might have agreed with you. However, this may now represent our best chance of a trophy and I desperately want one for both Ole and Bruno. And they way we’re playing in the league right now, there’s no guarantee we’ll actually get top 4. And as before, our trophy haul in Europe is really shabby for a club of our importance so let’s win the bloody thing.

We probably won't get past City in the FA Cup... We are definitely not going to win the league... So this is all we have left...the top 4 cup doesn't count for fans...only for the leeches... |

It would be nice if we can win it, but also sad that we're in this position. |

I don't think I'll be watching the Europa League(anger Management). If by some miracle we get past some of the really good well managed teams and win it then great.
Hopefully we don't get Injuries to important players from playing Thursday nights.

Bit disappointing to watch us in EL after almost qualifying from one of the toughest groups in CL.

So we should hope our important players don’t get injured, so we can have them in our race for the top 4? Even if we make that we all know what’s going to happen- all these great players promised, big stars linked and then nothing. We limp along in the tournament next year, without a hope of winning it, maybe get out of the group, maybe not. Rinse and repeat. I’d prefer us to win another European trophy to be honest. |
