Also- does anyone know what’s happened to Mata? Is he injured or just being phased out? He was ‘away’ for a few weeks in Jan/Feb, came back and got an unspecified injury that would keep him out for a few weeks. Seems very odd. Agreed. He doesn't seem like the type to kick up a fuss, and I think he's actually shown he can still offer a fair bit when he has played this season, so not sure what the issue is there. I hope it's not a falling out as we could use him, especially with VdB and Pogba still out.

Apart from the ridiculous KO time which makes me both sad and angry, I’m actually very worried about this. We should walk it on paper but given the levels of management and coaching at the club whatever marginal and non-marginal advantages we may have are probably wiped out.
What really scares me though is the prospect of Moyes beating us, and then all too predictably using it as ammo for his ridiculous “I needed more time” narrative.

I was thinking more the media narrative as no doubt there will be an article or two validating West Ham’s upward ascent and linking it to Moyes’ “unfair” treatment. I guess we all know this won’t impact anything tangible at the club, our wonderful owners are on to a winner with Ole in terms of doing just enough to keep the dividends rolling in.

10-0 for Carbon! Per everyone else on here I’m rather pissed off about the ridiculous kickoff time. I like my (normal) Sunday afternoon routine, this 7:00pm malarkey completely chucks a spanner in the works.

I remember when West Ham fans were angry that they'd appointed Moyes, like he was below them. Fact of the matter, Moyes did a great job with Everton, but the bigger clubs are just too big for him. West Ham think they are bigger than they actually are. Moyes is doing a very good job. Will be tough today. I bet there are some fans out there that never took to moyes from day 1 and never thought he was Utd quality (which is understandable)but are happy the ole was appointed and want to give home time to rebuild etc. it shows that people just look at ole the player and not the manager. if ole was manager of West Ham would they be where they are now in the table?

Marcus legs are gonna fall off at this rate. Does Ole know its not against the law to play something other than 4-2-1-3?

Well that is entirely predictable. Great to see Maguire at the heart of our world-beating defence again.
