It's really annoying that Fred and McTominay aren't good passers, but especially when they get into good positions on the edge of the box but end up significantly slowing down the attack instead of finding something penetrative. Any attempt to pull West Ham's defensive shape apart instantly has to reset.

Hate to see the defenders standing next to goalkeeper. What part of the tactical play does that serve. Never fashion anything from it except telling the opposition we are here for the taking.
Anyways, this West Ham team is so horrible to watch. But how come it’s only us that fail to break such systems.

Someone mentioned last week scott and fred should really be squad players not regulars. Got to say I'm tempted to agree . We so miss pogba or someone like him in these park the bus moments. There just is no creativity with scott and fred

West Ham did the exact same in the cup. They'd be happy for 0-0 at full time again. We can't do that. Marcus scores that easy change and it's a different game. Now we stutter our way through it. Mason doing his best to make things happen. Luke impressive again. Other than that, nothing. Bruno looks more gassed with every game he starts.

Our xG is 0.79 - I expect over half of that was the Rashford chance. Has to do so much better.

Who knew if you play a footballer, already not properly recovered from his ongoing injuries, that he won’t perform?
Or that constantly pressing our most crucial player into game after game would result in a dip in form?
Or that a defensive double pivot against teams that will sit back is a waste of time and space (literally)?
Or that never changing your “tactics” makes you easy to read, even for an idiot like Moyes?

I would put Rashford through centre only, Greenwood on the right, Get Telles on left wing instead of James and continue using that flanks for early crosses or under laps with Shaw.
Centre is too congested for entries there
