This deeper midfield two is fucking dreadful. Fred is out of form, making arguably the worst individual mistake any of our players have made this season, or even under Ole. Matic is done and has been for a while. McTominay had to start this, and has to come on now.

Seriously? That was NOTHING to do with Maguire. A footballer deals with that with no worries at all. He's shit. Offers nothing. I thought it wasn't a great pass, but it absolutely shouldn't have led to anything more than, at worst, Henderson having to kick it long and thus giving their centre backs the ball. In terms of fitting punishments, it's a mild warning about improving his passing at half-time, vs. Fred getting chucked in a box and being sent back to Brazil for good. |
