I dunno. I used to think it was managing expectations BS as well. But then he made that disgraceful team selection against Leicester which basically killed our chances.
So for me Ole has to prove through his actions that he takes this competition seriously and wants to win it. And I don't really care that we have a few players injured and will have to play twice a week. That is the kind of quality problem any manager worth his salt would love to have.

Excellent interview with Bruno who without any United DNA totally gets it:
‘No, it’s never successful when you win just one trophy at this club. You see in the past that they won a lot of trophies,’ he added. ‘It’s always successful when you win something. That’s important to understand because it means we did something good. ‘But at the same time, it doesn’t matter how many trophies you win, you always have to improve. ‘So it doesn’t matter if we won four trophies this season and I think we still need to improve. If this season we win just the Europa League, we still need to improve. ‘The most important thing for us is understanding that it doesn’t matter how many trophies we win, we still have to improve every season.’

So if Dean is the new number 1, does that mean he's rested tonight and De Gea plays the cup games!?

TBH, if Dean is number 1, he should be playing every game until the end of the season, so the lads in front of him know what to expect game in game out.

Great to see James starting again. Surely Amad is a better bet?

Good strong lineup that. Good to see.

Why the fuck is Rashford starting again? He's seemingly not been fully fit for a good while now and needs the rest yet he persists in starting him in every fucking game, regardless of who it's against.

I’m watching this this evening and really don’t give a shit, although having to watch the game on BT doesn’t help!

Anthony Elanga will be on the bench apparently - Anyone seen him before? He’s pretty sorted from what I’ve seen of him.

Decision to start rashford against Granada is shear madness. Diallo should be on the right and James left, rashford saved for premier league I just don’t get this guy
