Also, Henderson is all over the show today. He needs to calm down, fast. Henderson is doing what any keeper that young would - make mistakes. It's why I think it's utter madness to let De Gea go. Henderson will have a learning curve and will take time to cut his teeth and we need to understand that. |

Just so annoying. Our goal was one of the slickest you'll see all season, with a moment of genius from the league's best player.
Theirs was jumping really high whilst our lump of a defender acted like he was made of feathers.
A nice microcosm of the season really. Attacking brilliance almost instantly undermined by defensive stupidity. This despite the fact that the front 3 of Rashford - Cavani - Greenwood cost the club a grand total of £0 in transfer fees, whilst the back four cost us around £200m, with the player at fault this time costing £80m. That's a damning indictment of Ed and co.

Exactly what I was afraid of. Henderson makes a mistake and he immediately faces criticism. We do this all the time to young keepers. De Gea came in, nervy, we turned on him.
We cannot turn on Henderson. He's not experienced enough to be #1 anyway. He should be deputising to De Gea. But everyone has been clamoring for him, so give him time. Take his mistakes for a learning experience and instead point the finger where it should - at the two pillocks in front of him.
I've said it before, good keepers are a product of the CBs in front of them.
