This is a huge game. As said on here before, our European record is very ordinary so we need to be winning this. I watched them recently and they’re not great but seem to be focussing on this tournament similar in a way to what we did under Jose in his first year. They do have good CBs but their full backs are not much use so that’s where we should attack them. Also, if I see anyone other than Maguire on Dzeko at set pieces I’ll scream. He’s their major threat so expect it. We should have too much for them but they will be stubborn and won’t throw goals away like Sociead. I’d be playing Bailly tonight. Dzeko is a canny operator and will look for Lindelof at every opportunity. He’s always been a physical bully of a CF. Eric would match him and give him plenty of kicks back. Lindelof wouldn’t.

I've lost count of the amount of times in the last 7 years I've said I'm done and I'm not wasting my precious time watching us. Then there I am, every game, wasting my precious time watching us.
The Super League may have been an interesting moment, to see if people did actually give it up if it went ahead.

Absolute must win, that goes without saying. And we need a clean sheet - it's ridiculous the away goals rule is still going, but it is, so we need to make sure they don't get one. I'd probably take a slightly nervy 1-0 tonight, but would much rather a cushion before the second leg.
Very possible that we could only have the 5th best season of English teams, despite finishing second - City win the league, Chelsea the CL, Arsenal win the EL and Leicester win the cup (and also qualify for CL through the league). Winning this guarantees at least Arsenal and IMO Leicester can't have better end results.

This whole saga about Ole disrespecting Roma is some funny shit. Surely winning the trophy is motivation enough without concocting a story from nowhere about how Ole disrespected them. I really don't know how we will do in this game because the form of both Bruno and Rashford is worrying and I think Roma will have more gas in the tank. Prove me wrong you bunch of bottlers.
