Should be noted that Cavani was rated by some as the worst signing of the summer. He has absolutely put the doubters to shame. In fairness, it was a panic buy. No doubt about that, but it's worked out so well. Nobody expected this. Fair, and I should have prefaced it as not being an attack on some here, as I was skeptical of the move as well, but I was referring to an article in the fall where agents had overwhelmingly called it the worst transfer of the summer. Brilliant move in hindsight and hopefully he signs for another year. |

Sluggish start
Defensive fuck up
Better second half
Goals scored by class moments
We need to sort our defenders out this summer with better coaching or personnel or both

Bottom line we finally have ourselves a world class number 9 again.
Hate the way we always seem to come back from behind that won’t work as often when the fans come back but a win is a win and hopefully we can secure top 2 and rest players for our final game before the europa final

Always love a win, always.
Very happy for Mason, started off slow and had plenty to deal with off the pitch but is now turning the cooker up.
Rest Bruno, Rashford, Pogba, Mctominay, Fred, AWB, shaw for the game against leicester, I want them up for the scouse game.
mata, diallo, James, DVB, Matic, Telles, Tuanzebe can come in

Sounds like Maguire could be out rest of the season. Ah here, that’s awful for Harry. I know he’s not everyone’s cup of tea but I’d rather him there than that wimp Lindelof. He deserves to lead us out in the final as well. Very disappointing if true. |

personally think the issue is harry and vic both need a commanding pacey player next to them, you either rotate them or get rid of one.
Vic will really need to step up, Bailly will get a chance to earn his stripes as will tuanzebe.
Hope Harry is fit for Europa final however
