Sounds like Maguire could be out rest of the season. WIN. How about we limit wishing injury on people associated with this club to the owners, board members, Woodward etc. He doesn't deserve to be here but that's hardly his fault. Wishing injury on him is ludicrous since he's hardly a bad guy. Shit player but that is where it should stop. Does he need replacing? Yes. Does he deserve injury? No. Also, it is not a win in any way because Lindelof and Bailly can very easily be a clusterfuck situation. They have hardly ever played together and its just not ideal with a huge Final coming up.

A few weeks ago, we were desperate for someone to take the pressure off Bruno and Rashford. Mason and Edi have absolutely answered the bell. Cavani is world class, most people expected him to step up. Mason, if he keeps this up, could be talismanic for us.

He doesn't even deserve to be at the club. I know it's harsh as fuck but it's the truth. We're better off without him. We’re not better off without him between now and the transfer window opening however. Sure we are. Both Axel and Bailly are fit.

Dean Smith being a complete twat I see.
'But it looked a pathetic decision to me. Was that enough for him to go down? No. But he goes down, similar at Old Trafford, similar last season here, and I said that before the game. 'Everybody's confused that Raheem Sterling can go through last night (for Manchester City against Chelsea), have four of five touches on his backside, go down and not get a penalty.
'Then there's one touch and we go down and it's a penalty (for Pogba). The whole of the football world is confused at the moment.'
Seriously? It was a blatant as can be pen. Like, I get people saying crap in the heat of the moment, but how in the name of fuck can you look at that and think it's not a pen?

Smith is probably the only person in the world who didn’t think it was a penalty. Concentrate on your player making a stupid decision rather than whining you melt.

No one could have expected it to this extent given how his Utd career had gone before Christmas. 1/ I inwardly groaned when Cavani was announced, thinking it 3 or 4 years’ too late. 2/ I reckon he’s exceeded most peoples’ expectations across the board. 3/ I really need to copy this onto the “Proved Wrong” thread!

It’s surprising that people didn’t see Edi doing as well as he has, maybe it’s because some got used to Martial’s lack of movement and began to think it was normal.

I think a lot of people were making lazy comparisons to Falcoa assuming we'd once again signed a player well past his peak plagued with injury problems.
But of course (and hindsight can be 20:20) the injury problems weren't that serious and he made a full recovery and his intelligence, movement, experience and instincts go a long way towards compensating for any age related decline and when fully fit he is in absolutely fantastic shape and knows how to look after himself.
