Sounds like Maguire could be out rest of the season. Ah here, that’s awful for Harry. I know he’s not everyone’s cup of tea but I’d rather him there than that wimp Lindelof. He deserves to lead us out in the final as well. Very disappointing if true. Touch and go for the final it sounds like. With what we have now, he’s still in our best XI so hope he’s back for the final. The good news is Ole said he definitely wouldn’t have played Tuesday anyway, which strongly implies it’ll be full rotation for that game. And if Maguire is out for the final, then either Bruno gets the armband as he should, or DDG gets it which is a fitting sendoff if it’s his last game. |

If it was one of the two of them injured, I’d rather it be Lindelof. He’s by far the weaker of the two and that’s saying something as I don’t rate Maguire highly.

True but with Maguire's place in the side absolutely assured at least Lindelof gets a few more games to hopefully make it blindingly obvious to Ole that we need to buy a centre back in the summer. Silver lining could be that Bailly gets a run of games and gets back to his best. I still think that a fit and on form Bailly is by far our best central defender. He doesn't even deserve to be at the club. I know it's harsh as fuck but it's the truth. We're better off without him. We’re not better off without him between now and the transfer window opening however.
