Looking at his two goals last night, honestly I'm struggling to think of a player better in the air than him. Which, considering he started life as a skinny, jinking winger like a Giggs, is just unreal.
Someone like Ferguson would win more headers of course, he was a giant, but how many goals did he actually score with his head throughout his whole career? Same goes for someone like Crouch.
Sheringham was excellent in the air, Shearer, Ferdinand likewise. But I'd take Ronaldo over any of them if someone was going to hang a cross up in the 90th minute and you needed someone to get on the end of it.
He's just a complete freak.
