Line up is OK to be fair, minus Dan James with Donny again on the bench, which is still so bizarre. At least Sancho and Varane start. I’d like to think that James is there to provide some help with Adama’s pace, but if Donny can’t get a start when Rashford, Cavani, McT and Ronaldo are not available then he must be wondering if he ever is going to play for United again. |

Ole came out with some crap about how when we start playing twice a week everyone will get some game time. So basically we are saving Donny for the Caraboa cup.
Line up isn’t too bad. Hopefully Cavani will come off the bench so James only gets an hour or so and a midfield of Fred and Pogba will get exposed so we start offloading fringe players to bring in a CDM.

Sancho and Varane start. No defensive double pivot. Pogba in the two concerns me as it's rarely worked out before but it's streets ahead of Matic being there. Overall I'll take that for sure, even if James is probably going to be rubbish and lower his own price. Cavani on the bench is also good to see, we might need him yet. We don't know that it isn't a double pivot with Pogba as a "box-to-box". Ole was coming out with that sort of rubbish the other day. Fucking called it. Utterly pathetic. #OleOut |
