#mufc are thinking of the free agents market if there are any big opportunities next year. @fabrizioromano YCNMIU  I’m ok with this as it shows some sense for once. PSG did well on that front in the summer and there are some very good holding mids potentially free. A clever, well-run club signs a pre- contract with Kessie or Brozovic in Jan, then spends on Haaland in the summer coming. Massive upgrades for under 100 mill. *Sigh* |

Daily Star. If there’s any truth in this, it sums up what is wrong with Utd.
‘According to The Daily Star, the Manchester club will have a further £70m to spend in the mid-season transfer window but that money will only be available to Solskjaer if the board feel the club are in a position to sustain a title challenge.
The report suggests Solskjaer knows if United are in the hunt for glory by Christmas he will be rewarded with further financial backing to continue a major push in the run-in.’
So rather than strengthening (presumably CM) a position of dire need, we’ll do it only if we are challenging.
