Martial is the only one Newcastle would have any interest in. The rest is just pie in the sky lads. Lingard would be a decent signing for them to be fair.

I suppose Lingard would be an option. But Jones, Bailly etc not going to happen. These guys can pretty much afford anyone they want so I doubt they’ll go for our castoffs. Although if they could take Lindelof I’d be delighted.

Although if they could take Lindelof I’d be delighted. Think they couldn't make more of a statement then signing the Manchester United 'captain' and English Lionheart, Harry Maguire. I would begrudgingly accept a fee of fifty pence.

Let’s be clear here, we would be stupid to not approach Newcastle for any player we want rid of. Whether they decide to take them is a different thing but at the very least you try rather than make an assumption.
We have some decent players that they might like and of course some players that would take some serious madness for them to consider. We just should try and see where it goes

£80 million for Martial sounds about right.

Lingard and Martial for £50-60m would be good (not sure how long each has left on their deals). Spend that on a DM in January.

Knowing our club we will probably refuse to sell players to Newcastle on the basis that following the takeover they could become a future rival that we won't want to strengthen.

Tchouaméni looked very good last night . An obvious signing for us meaning it will never happen.

Btw are these Newcastle transfer stories even coming from someone credible. Seems like thin air? They’re going to be bathing in money and they will buy our black sheep?

#mufc are thinking of the free agents market if there are any big opportunities next year. @fabrizioromano YCNMIU I’m ok with this as it shows some sense for once. PSG did well on that front in the summer and there are some very good holding mids potentially free. A clever, well-run club signs a pre- contract with Kessie or Brozovic in Jan, then spends on Haaland in the summer coming. Massive upgrades for under 100 mill.
