You really have to hope that Martial, lingard, Bailly, fred and Jones are being offered to Newcastle now for a January 2nd sale. The first 3 improve their squad no doubt and Lingard will stay in the North as he wants. The other 2 are more 'do us a favour' deals Newcastle will be aiming a lot higher than our deadwood. They can aim but I think they know this one is not going to be chelsea or City part 2. The first 3 players improve their team immediately and to be honest deadwood is not a description i would use on them as they are good players just not for us. The last 2 yes, deadwood is fair, I can think of other words but let's go with how politely you put it

One of the first things Chelsea did was sign Veron when they were bought out. It was 100% a "look at us" move, they never really wanted him they just wanted to show they could now go and sign players from United. City also, very first move was to try and hijack the Berbatov deal; again, 100% it was more to get attention rather than actually wanting him. Hopefully the barcodes do the same, try to show off by splashing out on 1 or 2 or our players, not realising we want rid of the fuckers anyway.

Phil Jones is available for 40m or straight swap for Saint-Maximin.

Martial is the only one Newcastle would have any interest in. The rest is just pie in the sky lads.

Just on Newcastle, being realistic it will be a few years of building, before they start going mad getting elite players, I'd be looking at trying to get Henderson on loan, lingard would be great for them, players like neves, would be easily attainable too for them. If they are clever and run correctly, they could push on really quick

Jessie, Brozovic etc. Offer their clubs a good price and get an influx of good talent that way.

They will want to make a statement next summer by buying one of the world’s most sought after players and just blow everyone else out the water.
My money would be on Kane.

The most important part of the article; Manchester United’s Jesse Lingard has also been discussed, but it is not yet known whether he would like to sign for the club
Fingers and toes crossed. Fuck it, double deal for him and Martial.

I’m already frustrated by Newcastle going from zero to title contenders in 3 years, while it took us 9 years to build a squad capable of doing so (after winning the league).
