I'm a huge fan of Bissouma in that CM role, but he is also under investigation pending for similar allegations, so I don't see that one happening! (It's an investigation, so obviously I don't know the full story or outcome.)

I mean, looks like Lingard may have to stay at this rate. Or, we pull out head out of our arse and get Dembele in. As someone else said, genuinely wouldn't be shocked if we signed a Ramsey (Aaron) or Wilshere on a short term deal.

at this stage, i'd be getting pellestri back from Spain.
Play Sancho, work him in training etc and hopefully the talent shines. Pellestri looked good in pre season too.

Martial Amad Donny Greenwood (fucking tool) 3 first team squad members and a youngster who could have stepped in if need arose. And that’s just as of now. How is this a sound strategy? The minute that news broke yesterday Utd needed to react with speed, particularly as we’d just let Amad join Martial on loan. An injury to say Sancho or Rashford (who is injury prone) and we are fucked basically. The idea of a window is to come out of it at the least as strong (ideally stronger) as you went in. So on this very basic level, we’ve failed. Yet again. I suppose that the only positive (tbh very little at the moment) is that the fucking tool was the only one making an impact out of the four you’ve listed. The return of Pogba who will be arsed because he’s looking for one last big pay day, rise of Elanga and likelihood Hannibal and Shoretire will feature more means we could likely ride an injury crisis. Our forward options of Ronaldo, Cavani, Rashford, Sancho and Elanga should do for now. It’s next season where we will be totally fucked. |

Let Lingard go, get a CDM in and get in someone on the right hand side as I do not for one second want to see Juan Mata playing there, I do not want to see Rashford there either nor Pogba or Bruno.
