One huge difference between Lindelof and a top CB like Varane is their headed clearances. Lindelof knocks it clear. Varane is aware of where the space and runners are and knocks it in those directions to try and start a counter. Ramos and Godin were also kings of this.

Wan Bissaka is just not good enough. Being good defensively but awful on the ball is not what you want from a top right back, it's just not good enough. Has he made a forward pass yet?? Yeah, and it resulted in a goal kick for them! |
