State of some people on here. Just enjoy a win and an ending like that for once. Sorry if this drama isn't enough to mask the shit show that's transpiring at this club. I hate this fucking cycle of tight wins, euphoria and then shite the next game as well. Those of us in a state aren't begrudging you your ecstacy anyway, why are you telling others how to react to this? winning any match is brilliant but we also have to analyse how we’ve been winning them. look what Chelsea have done by replacing their club legend with very good manager(as I am typing this they are swatting away spurs with ease)and look like genuine title challengers.oh and they have already won the champions league. |

Rice is a good player. He'd definiely improve our midfield. He's just absolutely miles off the insane valuation West Ham place on him, the idiots. Bissouma? No one is calling Bissouma shit. I'd sign Bissouma if I had the choice but I'd also be happy signing Rice. But nowhere near the price that West Ham have put on him |

Also this is what happens when your looking to your fucking IPad, you focus post match on nit picking decisions by the ref you’ve replayed instead of seeing the big picture. Someone take that thing away from the bench.

We are well past the "Let's try to see the positives and enjoy it when we occasional scrape a win" stage. That was fine during the transition stage. But that excuse doesn't fly any more. We have a strong squad that is more than capable of challenging for trophies.
Even the midfield thing is overblown. Liverpool won everything with a fairly pedestrian midfield. A good coach could find a workaround. SAF won the league with Giggs and O'Shea. So Pogba and Scotty could probably do a job for us. But McFred is a nightmare especially as Fred seems to have completely gone to pieces.
And really while we may be close to the top of the table if you look under the surface you'll see we struggled against Southampton, Wolves and West Ham and that 4-1 result against Newcastle flattered us. The games are going to get a lot harder as the season goes on and Chelsea look absolutely fucking ruthless and I cannot see them dropping many points so we cannot afford many slips.

They are well drilled and well coached outfit with quality players as are Liverpool but with slightly less quality in the squad. our squad is between the two of them but we are stuck with our version of France lampard. |
