Last night was yet another reminder why some of us just flatout refuse to celebrate victories like the one we got this past weekend.
The truth is there for everybody to see.
3 trophies left to play for.

I mean, I don't even think Sancho has looked that bad. He's looked lively in his last couple of appearances, little end product yet but I've literally zero concerns on that front so early into the season. If he was dawdling round the pitch like Martial, maybe I'd be more concerned.

he’s not some kid from Spain or Italy he’s English and has spent a few years overseas. as I’ve said he needs a run of games and I’m not writing him off by any any means but he needs to knuckle down. How many games did he play in England before he left for Germany? Havertz looked absolutely lost this time last year. He’s one of the best players in the league now. What happened I wonder? Stretty had a word in his ear?

Last night I thought between him,Lingard & DVB it was a tough to pick our best player, certainly his best performance so far for us.

Why even both posting shite like this. He's 21, had never played in the PL before and because of a big fee, you're expecting him to instantly hit the ground running. There are much more pressing issues than a kid who's played a grand total of 327 minutes for us. he’s not some kid from Spain or Italy he’s English and has spent a few years overseas. as I’ve said he needs a run of games and I’m not writing him off by any any means but he needs to knuckle down. To be fair he was signed to fill the void on the right hand side. He's been played on the left. Also he didn't have a pre season and hasn't seemed fully match fit since day one. If you see his movement you'll see he is trying to knuckle down. Fail to see what his nationality has to do with it though. Doesn't mean you're instantly suited to that nations football. Soon as the lad beds in people will see what he can do.

What does ‘knuckle down’ mean, in the context of Sancho, btw? I’m very unsure. It seems to suggest he’s not working hard enough. Which is bollocks.

Still not sold on Sancho as this 'Generational Talent', but I'm going to give him more than a handful of appearances before saying we've been sold a dud.

Don't think there's anything wrong with Sancho tbh , put him in a Liverpool or City team and he will look a real star. I'll reserve my Judgement until we get a manager.

Sancho hasn’t has a preseason, he’s being played out of position and in an entirely ineffective formation. The levels of coaching are probably far below those at BVB. Cut the kid some slack, we know whose fault this is. Sancho is not playing out of position, he played left and right at BVB. For over half of last year he was under an interim coach, so unless you can say Edin Terzic is somehow a much higher level than our lot this doesn’t check out you’ll need a different reason. He met his target keeping them in CL and still didn’t keep his job. Not defending Ole but he’s also playing with a higher level of players around him, should have some contributions by now.

He's played on the right in games and still been underwhelming. For such a young player, he looks devoid of energy and ideas which isn't a great sign for a creative player who's supposed to create goals. He's been hyped up by our supporters and he's struggling with that expectation Every game that he has started has been on the left,we signed one of the best young players in world football,he was tearing up the Bundesliga,he comes to us & looks like another Dan James ...I wonder why? ? Kagawa ripped up the bundesliga and was poor for us. Werner was prolific in Germany, yet he can't a hit barn door with a truck at Chelsea. You can use the Ole excuse with Sancho but not Werner. They bought Lukaku because he's crap. Doing it in Germany does not guarantee you will do it in the PL.

If by January Sancho is not looking his best Id be concerned, but for now, way too early to pass judgment.

From what i saw of Sancho at Dortmund the games were very open, he had plenty of space in which to operate and run in to, lightning quick counter attacks as well and a well defined way of playing. Now he's a club with a disjointed system playing against teams with a "low block" with very little room to operate in, i'll give him the time to adjust but he needs to get at his man when one on one, stand him up , twist him about, put him of balance, drop the shoulder, couple of step overs, whatever, just to find that half a yard to get the cross in, do that with Ronaldo in the box and there's a good chance he'll be on the end of it.

This isn't a defence of Ole but not everything is his fault. He's finding his feet in a new league. That's not to say he won't perform under Ole.

I simply blame Ole for this whole situation TBH. no tactical setup, no style of note that everyone can adhere to a flourish in.
I say it again and again his job is done, he got rid of some really poor players, he made everyone smile, no we need someone to unlock the best of the likes of rashford, sancho, elanga, diallo, DVB, Pogba, AWB, hannibal, shoretire, garner, MCT and yes even Martial. Bruno and Ronaldo are different animals and can perform irrespective tbh but imagine a manager getting a beat out of the midfield and attack, we would be steam rolling teams.
