The 11 played should have been far too strong for West Ham. I would have played Elanga over mata, Mata might offer something at another club but his time with us should have been up this summer.
Sancho, lingard, martial not good enough to put a goal past westham’s 2nd string? That’s poor on the manager and the players.
Only plus was 90 mins for donny, he needed that, the shame was he was on the losing end which no doubt the manager will hold on him as a reason to stay on the bench instead of Fred

Ole Gunnar Solskjaer after Man Utd's Carabao Cup defeat by West Ham: "We played well for long periods and gave it a good go. Stats don't mean anything but when you've got 27 shots you know the boys have given it a good go." This one is for the apologist. A good go ? Dearie me.

Why even both posting shite like this. He's 21, had never played in the PL before and because of a big fee, you're expecting him to instantly hit the ground running. There are much more pressing issues than a kid who's played a grand total of 327 minutes for us.

Another OGS Horror Show & if they can't see sense & sack him,at least stop from speaking with the media ffs, everytime he opens his gob We gave it a good go,all a little too late with Mason,we are a side that struggles against a low blocks, stats count for nothing but 27 efforts means the lads tried hard.Yes,another slow start that lacked pace & intensity, something we will have to address....again. The only positive from the night was Sancho,DVB,Lingard who was showed more than enough to justify why it should be McBeek. More strange subs,Lingard was looking sharp & probably a most likely attacking treat,so he hooks him & leaves Martial on who was abysmal. Elanga on at Left back was up there with one of his strangest ever changes! Post match he rightly said we can't break down low block sides,so there was no point in swinging balls into the box all night,so why didn't ha as the manager do something about it,the fucking idiot!! We have a bloated squad & needed to win this one to get a trophy in cabinet & too also help keep some players happy & fit. After last night baring significant injuries,we won't some much of DVB,Dalot,Baiily,Telles,Mata,Jones again this season How does that 11 get beat by their 2nd 11 is down to one person...the manager & he has to go before there is completely zero chance of a trophy.

He's played on the right in games and still been underwhelming. For such a young player, he looks devoid of energy and ideas which isn't a great sign for a creative player who's supposed to create goals. He's been hyped up by our supporters and he's struggling with that expectation
