I think we know what we are gonna get under Ole. Quite a lot of turgid performances where we rely on individual brilliance to bail us out. And occasionally when everything clicks we'll run riot like the way we did against Leeds and people will get unduly excited. But the tests are starting to get tougher and eventually we won't be able to scrape wins the way we did against West Ham (in the league) and Villareal last night and drop points and fall behind. The win tonight was MASSIVE for Ole. If we'd lost then it would be a massive struggle to get the 10 points usually required to qualify from our remaining four games. And getting knocked out at the group stage would have definitely resulted in some heat on Ole. agreed.....funny enough we played better last season and still fucked it up. if last night was an away game then it would be a massive result, they could still turn us over in the away leg. Atalanta don't look bad either, this group will be decided on the final match day. Good that we are playing Young Boys at home on the final match day. |

so even if we do make it out of the group, does anyone believe we'll go further than the last 16 the way we're playing?? Sure, depending on the draw. |
