We're gonna be linked with so many managers but the three today... Keane - no. Dressing room yes, manager no. Pochetino - please just no. Bruce - Hahahaha Ok let's go get Klopp, Pep or Tuchel then. Poch is one of the best coaches available to us. He has to be in the running. The only one that isn't mentioned is Simeone, who is on par with that lot. None of those spineless twats have the balls to appoint Simeone.

Southgate signs a new contract. So that’s one nightmare scenario averted. Thank fuck for that! You just know our board would make that mistake

Beggars can't be choosers.
Either we suffer through Carrick/Phelan/McKenna for the next 7 months and then MAYBE we get Ten Hag, or we bite the bullet and hire whoever is available which is Rodgers or Pocchettino.
We are so utterly fucking fucked it is lamentable. Now that the manager is out the door the fans should revisit the protests last season against these fucking clueless cunts in the USA. Those bastards need to feel the heat for dithering over Conte.

I wouldn't be against Pochettino, if it was possible to get him now. I would prefer Zidanne, but he doesn't want it and I really admire the Ajax set up and Ten Hag, but I would fear for him in our circus like set up without the structure he has and the big names we have in our current squad.
They are never going to put in place a top football executive that would allow a pure technical coach to thrive.

I don't believe there is an interim manager close! I just don't see anyone really available and they are reactive as usual here. I don't believe they had anyone in mind when they had to sack Ole

It's no different to people saying they don't want Southgate. Just because a coach is available doesn't mean he's the right choice. Poch is available if we buy him out, same as Rogers or even Ten Hag. I don't want us to bring somebody in just because he's available. I want us to bring in somebody that can win us trophies. However these dickheads have Put us in a position where options are limited or we stick with Carrick which is something I don't want either because he's been part of the problem aswell. They had the whole international window to sort this out. The whole thing is a shit show. It's a case of bite the bullet or stick with what we have.

Don't worry lads, the top man is sticking around to oversee things!!
BREAKING NEWS - WOODWARD TO DELAY DEPARTURE?
Sky Sports News has been told Manchester United’s executive vice-chairman Ed Woodward could delay his departure from the club as he oversees the appointment of the new interim - and then the new long-term - United manager.
In April, following the collapse of the club’s attempt to join the breakaway European Super League, United announced that Woodward will retire at the end of this year. Woodward himself admitted in a statement at the time that “it would be difficult to walk away”.
There has been no further comment on his future - from the club or Woodward himself - since then.

what this is doing is shining a massively bright light on the incompetency of the board even further. they literally have nowhere to hide now. no manager getting good/bad results. no trophies. no signings to keep the fans quiet.

Ah yes of course. Where would this club be without the steady hand of guidance that Ed Woodward has displayed for the years since Fergie's departure. I, for one, would have been very upset had he left without leaving us with a parting gift of another manager hired by him to take this club into a new era.

Luckhurst is going big on the Poch story & saying he ready to join us now. I think Gary Neville is right on this one. If Poch is offered a long term contract I believe he would leave PSG. Not sure how things work in terms of him resigning if they reject his resignation but.....
