Don't worry lads, the top man is sticking around to oversee things!! BREAKING NEWS - WOODWARD TO DELAY DEPARTURE? Sky Sports News has been told Manchester United’s executive vice-chairman Ed Woodward could delay his departure from the club as he oversees the appointment of the new interim - and then the new long-term - United manager. In April, following the collapse of the club’s attempt to join the breakaway European Super League, United announced that Woodward will retire at the end of this year. Woodward himself admitted in a statement at the time that “it would be difficult to walk away”. There has been no further comment on his future - from the club or Woodward himself - since then. Fuck me, that's the most depressing thing I've heard since 2019 before Covid hit. Talking about the definition of insanity and all that

I don’t totally get the anti-Pochettino vibes as I consider him to be an excellent manager. I know nothing about the Ajax manager but it seems like he has an amazing record over there.. the only issue being is that it’s the Dutch league and just like many players who do well there fail in the PL, so could managers. Rodgers has done well at Leicester and might do well here. Zidane has an amazing record with Real, but I have a feeling he would never sign here. My point is, any of them should be a huge improvement. The anti-Pochettino vibes are because, actually, he isn't an excellent manager. All fur coat but no knickers.

I doubt there is any chance Poch will leave PSG mid season. I would say those stories are made up click bait BS anyway

Ok let's go get Klopp, Pep or Tuchel then. Poch is one of the best coaches available to us. He has to be in the running. The only one that isn't mentioned is Simeone, who is on par with that lot. It's no different to people saying they don't want Southgate. Just because a coach is available doesn't mean he's the right choice. Poch is available if we buy him out, same as Rogers or even Ten Hag. I don't want us to bring somebody in just because he's available. I want us to bring in somebody that can win us trophies. However these dickheads have Put us in a position where options are limited or we stick with Carrick which is something I don't want either because he's been part of the problem aswell. They had the whole international window to sort this out. The whole thing is a shit show. It's a case of bite the bullet or stick with what we have. So who is winning us trophies then?

Sorry maybe off topic slightly but Carrick just said this......
"We will have to wait and see really.
"I worked with Ole closely, similair beliefs as a coach and manager. Got my own personality but it is very similar because that is why we worked together.
"I'm not giving my plans away but I am very clear in my own mind."
Carrick

Whoever takes the job has a huge job on his hands dealing with this joke management and that back four excluding Varane, it has to be a coach first and foremost which Ole never was.

Carrick I’m not expecting miracles from Carrick but if he can’t improve on the shit we’ve seen lately we really are up shit Creek.

This just beggars belief. Phelan never cut it as a manager but he is a very experienced coach who worked closely with Fergie for many years. Of course he hasn't exactly made much of a difference as assistant manger and I get the impression he is no longer hands on and content to take it easy and enjoy a cushy job and leave it to our amateur coaches like Carrick to do the dirty work. But he would be a far better temporary manager than Carrick who has only a few years coaching experience and most of it under Ole who obviously is clueless.

CM and RB was on most fans minds this year and we thought it would be addressed finally.

We're gonna be linked with so many managers but the three today... Keane - no. Dressing room yes, manager no. Pochetino - please just no. Bruce - Hahahaha Ok let's go get Klopp, Pep or Tuchel then. Poch is one of the best coaches available to us. He has to be in the running. The only one that isn't mentioned is Simeone, who is on par with that lot. Pochettino is not in the same bracket as any of those actual winners.
