Castles raving about Pedro Martins at Olympiacos. Saying his release clause is putting a lot of the big clubs off. I don't know anything about him though! Anyone else watch Greek football? Apparently, he has helped develop an app which gives him a real time aerial view of the game, so he can analyse the game as it happens, also show the players at half time. Clever shit! Shit mate, Ole already done that. Just Bought a drone, that's why they were all looking at the iPad. |

He probably gets someone to fly a drone with a camera, not a bad idea but shouldn’t need that to see how bad our back four is. |

Valverde had everything to lose at Barca, with us as an interim he has nothing to lose.
No need to sugar coat anything, and a voice that can tell the board that better coaches are needed or even the players getting a different style of training and relaying the benefits to the board can only help the cause of the next manager

Apparently the plan is to bring in an interim while keeping the rest of our coaching set up in place for continuity.
But I think Scholes is bang on when he says other heads should roll besides Ole. The biggest mistake Ole made was not to surround himself with absolute top quality coaches. Of course he would have still failed (good example is Southgate who has some really good coaches in the England set up but gets everything wrong in the games that count). And even if we do bring in an experienced interim manager such as Valverde there is only so much he can do if he has to work with an incompetent backroom and isn't allowed to bring in his own coaching team with him.
Still we could do a helluva lot worse than Valverde until the end of the season and because he has no Manchester United DNA there is hopefully no risk that if he does an OK job he will get the role permanently.

All these fucking coaches being interviewed for the interim position. You know for a fact the Glazers will be hoping they perform well when they come in so they can try to justify just giving them the job permanently and not have to fork out to bring someone else in.
