Does anyone have a solid reason anymore Poch should be first choice? Bit ridiculous now. Neville should shut up about him.

The penny has finally dropped after eight years.

Apparently Poch is first choice with Ten Hag as 2nd.
Priorities and all that 🤦♂️

If candidates such as Enrique, Ten Hag, Pochettino and Zidane aren't available until next summer I'd rather we go with an interim (assuming someone halfway decent can be found) than settle for someone like Rodgers. Of course we could have anticipated such a scenario and jumped at the chance to hire Conte.

I would take Ten Hag, but that would require a whole installation of a new philosophy and the guidance of a van der Saar figure to make it work, so it will never happen. I would take Luis Enrique, but he’s about to win another World Cup so it will not happen. Zidane is, IMHO, underrated as a coach. He won three successive CLs, and made a profit on transfers whilst he did so. Also Varane and CR7 live him. And he’s free. Seems like a no-brainer. We can all chip in and get his wife a few Selfridge’s gift vouchers to keep her happy. I’ve worked in both Madrid and Paris and there is nothing for Manchester to be ashamed off, unless you’re a knobhead. he has managed other clubs other than Ajax so this makes no sense. you could use that argument for literally every single other manager

Tough situation, this.
Not sure there will be much of a lift with essentially the same coaching structure until the end of the season. Interim and then permanent manager in the Summer means the season is a write off.
Not as sold on Zidane as many on here, his CV doesn't scream experience and the ability to recreate that success somewhere else - United and Real are not the same.
Ten Hag looks a solid shout, but Ajax and United are not the same kettle of fish either. Could melt under the pressure, moreso under the bureaucratic shower of shit he'd have to work under.
The thought of Rodgers as United manager has always kind of irked me, but begrudgingly I feel like he might be the right appointment.
Definitive style, great with youngsters and he's been around the block a bit too - reckon he could do a job at United.
No guarantees with any of the above, though, and the best available option now manages Spurs.

I still cannot believe we lost Conte by 3 weeks.

What a bellend Gary Neville is. Honest to God felt like Carragher has been doing more for this club than Neville as a pundit.

What a shitshow! We should have a plan in place before sacking the manager. We just had an international break just before we sacked him and now after sacking we look clueless as to what to do!
No plans on and off the pitch.

The more I think about it the more I just think he has the immediate ingredients to sort this mess out. But if they interview him they will be afraid, he doesn’t suffer fools gladly
