Can’t remember last time I sat three United players streaking downfield In a QUICK Counter. Under Ole it was almost LVG like ponderous. If Rangnick can utilize the players to,learn how to,press and attack,quickly, they could perform very well. Ronnie worked his socks off. I guarantee you he is more fit than martial and most of the others on the team.

Fair play to Carrick. Secured top spot in the Champions League and picked up 4 points in the league.
I'd echo Stew's thoughts on him, I'd like to see him go to the Championship, League 1, etc and try his hand at management; lets see what he's got.
Ralf is stepping into as solid a base as Tuchel did 12 months ago. Obviously I'm not expecting the exact same result, but get the defense sorted and organised, make this team hard to score against, and with the talent up top we can win any game. It only takes one chance and if it's Bruno creating and Ronaldo on the end of it, one may be all you need.

In no way should it lead to any form of appointment, but in fairness to Carrick, 4 PL points from Chelsea and Arsenal and a very tidy away win at Villareal is a strong return from his time in charge. You’d have definitely taken that beforehand. Probably more down to players wanting to impress the new manager, but still.
